Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies

• 2 cups of flour
• ½ teaspoon baking soda
• ½ teaspoon salt
• ¾ cup unsalted butter - browned
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1 egg - room temperature
• 1 egg yolk - room temperature
• 1 bag semi-sweet chocolate chips (can use milk chocolate)
• 1 ½ cup strawberries, chopped into small pieces

1. Preheat oven to 325°

2. Whisk together flour, salt & baking soda

3. In small saucepan, medium heat, brown the butter, set aside to cool

4. Mix together brown sugar & granulated sugar

5. Add browned butter, beat

6. Beat in egg

7. Beat in egg yolk

8. Add vanilla, beat

9. Slowly mix in flour mixture

10. Toss strawberries with tablespoon of flour

11. Fold in strawberries & chocolate chips

12. Roll into 2 tablespoons sized balls and place on greased cookie sheet (If your dough doesn't seem firm enough refrigerate for 20 minutes)

13. Bake 10-12 minutes
