Mini Dutch Apple Pies
Ingredients: Filling
- 4 cups apples (peeled, cored, and diced) - Honeycrisp preferred
- 1 tsp Lemon Juice
- ¼ cup White Sugar
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- 2 tbsp Flour
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp Nutmeg
Ingredients: Crumble Topping
- ½ cup Flour
- ¼ cup Brown Sugar
- ¼ cup White Sugar
- ½ tsp Cinnamon
- 6 tbsp Butter (unsalted)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375°F. Prepare a muffin tin with non-stick cooking spray or liners.
- Roll out the crust and cut into circles. Place and gently press into the muffin tin.
- In a mixing bowl, toss together apples, lemon juice, sugars, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg until apples are coated. Fill each mini pie with the apple filling (leave any juice from the apples in the bowl to avoid a soggy crust).
- In a separate bowl, use a fork to combine all topping ingredients until the mixture is well combined and crumbly. Sprinkle this topping onto each pie.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes. Let sit in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a cooling rack.
