  1. In a mixing bowl, add flour, salt, and sugar and mix together well.
  2. Slice the cold butter and use a pastry cutter to mix it into the flour mixture until you have a crumbly texture.
  3. Slowly add the ice-cold water until you reach the right dough consistency. Avoid making it too wet. (Note: this recipe may use up to the full ½ cup of water.)
  4. When rolling out the dough, sprinkle flour on your cutting board.
  5. Use your hands to knead the dough, then divide it in half for easier handling.
